The festival will help raise vitally needed funds to educate our wonderful teachers and thereby improve this unique city school. Research shows that the quality of preschool education is directly related to the level of teacher education. It is also an excellent opportunity for you or your organization to demonstrate your commitment to this community.

Sponsors will be recognized in our program book  as well as signage at the event. We invite you to invest in the children in this community.

JOIN THE COMPETITION
Create a chocolate dessert. Amateurs and professionals will be judged separately. Judges consider texture, appearance/presentation, taste and creative use of chocolate in selecting the award-winning entries.

Amateurs - everyday people who like to dabble in the kitchen and enjoy testing their talents or sharing a favorite decadent delight.

Professionals - chocolatiers and specialty bakers who desire to demonstrate their creative gifts.

SILENT AUCTION
The silent auction includes wonderful items donated by local merchants and friends as well as the yummy chocolate entries. Highlighting this year’s auction is a 6 days and 6 nights’ luxury accommodation at Zulu Nyala Luxury Tented Safari Lodge or Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge situated in the heart of South Africa’s Zululand conservation region – one of the richest conservation regions in Africa. Full board, that is three delicious meals per day, prepared by the ethnic chefs – with an African flavour of course. Two game viewing activities per day guided by professional game rangers in open game viewing vehicles on Zulu Nyala Game Reserve. This auction item is valid for two years from date of purchase, but it is non-refundable and cannot be bartered or sold in any other manner. Additional people may book in conjunction with a successful bidder. All transfers and tailor-made tours within South Africa and neighboring countries can also be arranged. .
